Hey, im looking for a budget flash to connect to the top of my Rebel XT/350d

Im looking to spend around or under £50 -

I dont need anything top range, ive seen a few choices here and there... but thought id ask the experts for some help first.

thanks

My advice is to wait and save for a bit longer
A Canon 430EX2 is around £172.00 on amazon:

and that would be a good flash to save for, - there are some 3rd party options which are cheaper but they often offer lesser features. For example the Sunpack RD2000 (£75,00 amazon)

offers you a cheaper flash but you can't alter the head as much to bounce the light = which is limiting for a main flash unit

I would definitely suggest saving for a canon flash

just as a point but if you go second hand from a good dealer (a local photography shop) you can probably pick up a 430 fora cheaper price and provided that its been treated right it should work with no problems
