Hello guys! I have a camera that was given to me a couple years ago. It was a Nikon d3100 with the 55mm nikkor lens.
I usually love to take pictures of things outdoors, such as wildlife,cars,buildings,events.etc.
I was wondering what would be a nice little upgrade from the lens I am using right now. That would benefit me when taking these outdoor shots?
Now I am not looking for anything on a pro level, any kind of hints or tips would be awesome.

Thanks alot! :D

That's quite a wide range of things you want to take pictures of. Either the Nikon AF-S 70-300 VR or the Tamron AF 70-300 would work well if ya want a zoom lens. A Nikon 35mm or 50mm 1.8 would work great for others and are reasonably priced. I'g get a 70-300 cause you could cover quite a bit with the kit lens and one of the zooms.

Have a look at the nikkor DX 18 - 200. Versatile all-in-one lens. I have no clue on its sharpness though.

As stated above, your query could cover focal lengths between 10mm and 400mm - you need to be more specific.
