Need a Recommendation: Very short Tripod

For low to the ground and getting underneath things. Must be able to hold a DSLR with long lenses (not necessarily super heavy Cannon L's) and tilt.

All I'm seeing is Slik tripods which seem kinda cheap.

Lots of companies make what they call "table top tripods" ... if you want something sturdy, check those out.

the Manfrotto 055XBPRO can open to allow a base only a few inches from the deck. It's post is able to mount laterally.

This is going to sound stupid but one of my favorite accessories is a camera strap. A black rapid RS-7. It makes carrying my camera around all day unnoticeable compared to a traditional neck strap.
