Need Critique on a Photo for a Competition

Hi, I am planning on entering a photo competition with no particular theme. I recently took this macro shot of some blades of grass and I am in need of critique.
Just for reference, this photo has not been retouched so the lens flare is natural.

With no particular theme in mind this photo really does nothing to set it apart to be a contest winner. Look for something else to enter.
