need help...Canon Digi Rebel.

friend just brought her Canon Digi Rebel in to me...this is the 6 MP version........she is getting error code 2 which is CF Card. We switched out cards, and she still got the message.......she bought a new card and still gets the message...any other ideas?

still having a problem? i'm not going to be much help... maybe shut it down, take the battery out... try it again? otherwise it may need to be checked out by a tech or Canon...

What types of CF cards have you been using?

Take out the batteries, and put them back in.

If that fails, send it back to Canon. Is it still under warranty?

Actually, that's not an easy thing to do without breaking something!

I remember ppl would write in with some errors with the Digital Rebel, usually it was caused by mounting the lens incorrectly or something like that which for some reason had a lasting effect.
