Hey Everyone,
I heard about this forum from a friend when I was trying to clear up this picture. Im not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I could really really use some help. I got this picture of a truck driving on our land, but cannot get the license plate. The reason that I am trying to get the license plate number is because this guy broke in and stole or broke almost everything in our cabin. If anyone would be able to help at all, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Alex

Im not sure how to attach a photo here, so I will put the link in instead.

Thank you in advance to anyone that might be able to help...

There is nothing there to recover. No detail. Nothing to enhance. Can't be done.

You would be better off having a car buff identify the make and model of the car. At least that would give the police something to go on.

Sorry, but there is nothing anyone can do. The stuff you see in CSI is not real.

Is there any way to get anything out of the picture? My buddy was able to reduce the exposure and got some dark spots on the license plate, but it was still impossible to read it.

Not with the image you posted. Perhaps with the original, but I doubt it.

Aren't the police offering you any advice or assistance?

Stupid thing to say that the things you see in CSI is real. Like when they use a picture taken from surveillance camera and zoom in on the pupil on someone to see the reflections of the guy who did the crime, and use this to identify him and have him convicted? Yeah, that pretty much sounds real! Try that with a good DSLR, a great lens and good lighting and see how much detail you can get out...in near perfect conditions :p

Impossible... the image simply has no info...
There are a few pixels that aren't completly white. Can you read that?....

Wait, now that I see the evidence. OJ did it.
