If you're going to buy a new filter, I would suggest a mulitcoated one. They are more scratch resistant and better at eliminating glare.

Thanks for the recommendation. So Multicoated is probably worth it. *sigh*

Yeah that site always reminds me of the early days of ecommerce. Tragic even. I havent ever shot what you are shooting but cant you process out the reflections on the granite? I know it is extra work but, it maybe the only option.

No, there's no reasonable way to remove the reflections. To a degree they can be reduced. And I usually remove the specular hotspots. But for very large reflections, it's just not a real possibility. Especially since the the images are sometimes printed very large, like 30x40 for framing.
