Need some more Advice on a lens

I think he was just refering to Nikon lenses, not every lens period. The lens your asking about is a canon mount so it will not work. Even if it would, Quantaray lenses tend to be of lower quality. For what they were asking for this lens, you could probably buy one new for just a little more. I would just keep looking at CL and e-bay. Just make sure it is a Nikon mount and preferably AF-S

does your camera not have a lens at all? if so just use what you have for now. starte just doing a bunch of research to find out what you really need. its tempting to jump on prices you see that are so cheap. but allot of times that can turn out bad for the buyer, remember the seller is trying to get rid of the lens and make some money, he's not worried about wether it is the right lens for you or wether it will even work or not (most times) so just slow down. take a few deep breaths and start doing some research and learning.
