Need Some Tips / Advice - Moon

Hi...

I wasn't sure where to post this, so I'll just throw it out there...

So I'm sure everyone has heard, there is a TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE MOON on February 20.

I have a Canon Rebel Xti with a 18-55mm lens (standard lens).

Seeming as how I don't have the best lens to take a picture of this, what would be the best way to approach it, to get the best picture with this equipment?

if your really into getting a pic of it you could rent a nice telephoto

eclipse on the 20th? hmm thanks for mentioning, If I photograph it I'd probably go with my Sigma 400mm, it's not as good as a telescope, but I don't have one.

Get as close to the moon as possible

I think that renting a telephoto (something like 400mm) would be the best idea
