Needle in a hay stack

Just got lens adapter and wanted to see what I could do with it. Here is a picture of a tiny needle and thread.

It's not meant to be an interesting photo but simply an example of how good of a macro capability my lens adapter offers. Thanks for the comment.

what adapter and lens did you get? Also, and pp done to the photo's? Just looks like the last one was sharpened.

Well I have a Nikon 70-300 and a Nikon 50mm 1.8. I ordered an adapter from HK that allows me to mount the 50mm to the 70-300 backwards. It only cost me 12$ shipped for the adapter. As for editing, all I did was remove the blue saturation in Lightroom. I used my SB-600 flash to light up the needle witch caused some harsh highlights. This was just a trial shot but so far, for 12 bux, I'm impressed.
