Neewer IR shutter release for Canon

Um, $3? Seems WAY too good to be true. Anybody have any experience with this remote?

I've got a $25 card for amazon burning a hole in my pocket, trying to figure out the best way to spend it.

I have it and have used it about a dozen time. The price was just too good to not try it. The battery alone is probably worth more. I can't comment on the range as I was using it pretty close quarter as it was for long exposure shots, not across the room remote shots.

Thanks!!! My thoughts exactly.

I'd mainly use this to avoid camera shake and can't really think of any circumstance where I'd be a significant distance from the camera.
