Hello everyone, I'm new to the site. I've been lurking on it for awhile. I've been taking pictures for quite a while now. What I know is self taught, trial and error. I've never shot in RAW because honestly I don't know how to process them afterwards. My biggest struggle seems to be white balance. I like "warmer" pictures but then when I play with the white balance some looks too cold/blue. I typically take pictures of landscape and equestrian events. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Are there any books/sites that would help teach post processing? I'm the type of person that learns best with hands on. Thank you for looking.

Love your first picture. He is just adorable
as far as post processing your raw files, it depends on which software you work with.

I am self taught too, I found lot of information and tutorials on youtube and various other web sites.
But I use photoshop which is widely documented.

I'm using photoshop CS6. I'll definitely look into youtube videos. I wasn't sure if that can be used for processing or possibly getting Lightroom.
