Nevada in the Spring

Hi guys,


Here are two shots from the other day, both were taken in the Ruby Mountains. I'd love C&C on these, especially on what you might do to crop these in an attractive way. The first one was shot B&W on the camera with a yellow filter (or yellow looking, I don't know the exact name) and I think I like it best! The other one was post-processed B&W.

They're okay but I find them to have too much sky that's not doing much to promote me to look at them for more than a glance.

Both images leave me floating in suspension. There is not enough foreground for me to feel grounded. They also appear shot too tight.

I'm with CB on this. The conversion is fine, but I'm still in my seat. I guess I would have to say both are just nice photos. #2 has my vote, but still there is nothing to hold me there.
