Last Fall my wife added four new perennials in the back of the Garden. She said they should grow tall enough to show from the back. The most mature has been blooming for a week and the bleepin' thing must be 8 feet tall. I can't even get to it to photograph it up there: Rudbeckia Maxima: Rudbeckia maxima - Plant Finder
I had to settle for an immature flower that was about 6 feet tall -- it's still growing.
And the Mandevillas are blooming nicely now.
