Im doing a project on virtual communities and i choose this one because i have an interest in photography. I would be great if people explain this website a bit for me, i would great appreciate that.

Do people come on here frequently?
Do you make actual friends that you may have met in real person after words?
Do you feel like this is a community?

Think of this as a bar. There are the regulars, people that drop in from time to time, and people that only come once or twice.

I have met up with one guy on here and did some photography. We plan on getting together again and text from time to time.

This is defiantly a community. The regulars get to know each other and their personalities, even if its just online.

There are even stalkers on here like a regular communities. (not going to mention any names but it begins and ends with S
