New B&W Color

I've been using Photoshop's Tritone function with spot colors to create some new B&W tints. Here's my most recent that I rather like -- a variegated hydrangea.

Thanks. It's hard to describe the difference between this and just using Hue-Saturation to add some color but to me this looks better. What I'm doing is mixing three ink colors and working the curves between them. This one is below:

I've got a couple now that I like.
