Got in my poly backdrop. Love it, no glare! My kids put up with me for a few minutes. On Sunday I will FINALLY be doing a test session with someone other than my kids ;)

C&C Please!

Awww come on, everyones just looking, no replies? Please :) I have a practice shoot on Sunday and I'm using this backdrop, C&C is GREATLY appreciated.

Love #6.

Tell the rest of the gang to shape up. No. 6 is taking the lead.

Haha she's the oldest, she's 5. So she is the "calmest". Although as good as she poses she doesn't last long before getting impatient with me :)

Sorry, I can't get past the Evil Owl eyes I see in the background pattern. Without a train or sweep, the transition is too abrupt for my tastes for more than head or 3/4 shots.

Just my 2¢.

Whats a train or sweep?

I intend on going to Menards and getting a piece of white trim to transition with. Just haven't done that yet.

Thanks!

They are pretty good, but would it be possible to get the backdrop more OOF like #5? Or even a little more? It's a nice backdrop but it's distracting when it's too sharp. It would also soften the transition between the bottom of the backdrop and the floor. Finally, you HAVE to take #2 again and make it sharp!! Love that kid! He is hilarious! On a technical side, I would say that #6 is the best, but #2 is way too funny!!!

The BG is like Flocking. But I see the evil eyes in No.3 right along the top of the photo. :lmao:

#2 is a kick ass kid...could you imagine.

I'm sure I can get the backdrop more OOF, I would just need to pull them further from the backdrop. Which in my living room is challenging but doable.

He is a sweet guy, such a good boy! I think my camera was focusing on the spit bubble not him lol, I knew it was a little soft but not completely OOF, so posted it just as part of the "set".

Looking at them I don't like my edit of #1.....too much red. I'll have to go re edit that one.

He is an incredible personality. Don't apologize. He is going to rule the world that little fella; he will. :hugs:

Glad to see that regardless of my talent or lack of ;) I can at least capture my kids' personality.

^^agree. The pattern and color suggests ...older. the bright primary colors your (adorable) little boy is wearing is really not meshing with the background, which is rather distracting. making the background more OOF or using b&w like you did in #6 (LLLOOVVEE IT) makes the background much more appealing.
