New Beginner photos

I wanted to mess around with the colors on the photos. let me know what you think.

Good shots.

Try making the first picture B&W and raising the contrast a little bit.

i would of centered the second one a little more and brought it a little closer

I think I like the first one in color, but I agree that it could use a little bump in contrast.

White balance looks a little warm for the season, doesn't really look 'wintery'.

Only down side (and it's probably just because of the size) is that the moon looks like a dust speck now...

I took a look at my flickr to view the photo large and the moon still looks like a spec. Possibly photoshopping it out could be an idea?

Photoshop it out, or photoshop it bigger (not sure how well that would work).

I kinda like it, so I don't know about taking it out, but without the context of the first photo I'm not sure if viewers would know that it was the moon. Maybe clone it out on a copy and see which one looks better...

I agree, I like the edited one much better too.

You could always photoshop a different picture of the moon in, but thats cheating
