What's new

New... C & C Please

After #7 you got my attention. Not to be the broken record but the excessive PP was just too much.

Keep shooting!

I agree I think there is a lot of PP but I do that too because my pictures at this point suck... :er: The trick is to just keep practicing and get used to using your camera. I honestly don't get #4 tho... I know selective coloring can be a big impact but this was just weird... Good luck!

Well these last 3 were much more constructive. I guess maybe the "too much PP" just stems from me trying TOO hard to make them perfect. I still personally LIKE the editing... I guess that's why every photographer is different. It's funny though because # 8,9,10,11 didn't have anything done to them except for vignetting. I wanted #6 to be saturated that way because of the fun setting at the carnival. As far as #2 having a distracting background, it is a live basketball game and I didn't want to take that away from the picture by cropping out the referee - but I suppose I could have worked on the bars at the top region.
Does anyone have any constuctive to say about #3? This was my first time to try this long exposure shot.

I think #6 is kinda cool. Getting those colors to really pop is something I would have liked to do as well. I'm new at this, so I'm not really sure how you could have done it differently (as far as color wise) Love the concept of #9! I think that is a beautiful photo =D

I like a lot of your compositions, but many of the color shots seem over processed and flat, and the b/w shots look underexposed.Love the last shot however--that's the only one I wouldn't change.

#7 and down were good.
The other ones, i have to agree have to much editing.
Keep trying and tone it down on the editing. Post less pictures, you'll get more feedback
:D

Yes I'm coming to find out that less is more on editing, and less is more on forum.
I have some stuff I'm working on now and when I'm finished (shouldn't take long with my cut down on editing) I will have to post a FEW to see if they are any better. ;)
