Went fishing at my friends beach house this weekend. Didn't catch much but got some nice pictures!!!!!! Be gentle I am still unfamiliar with the camera's controls!

Well, this is a slow thread.
And I'm afraid I can guess the reason why.
These photos don't "speak".
When you took these, your camera was so new, you still seemed to have had focus problems, problems with DOF - and if this is the in-built sepia mode, then I'd suggest you never use it any more: I find the tint quite unappealing.
And apart from the stones (but not in this pink, please) and maybe the heron-sculpture I am not too drawn to the subjects you chose, either.
