New DSLR and new to the forum

Hey all! My name is Robby and my wife and I just bought a new Canon EOS Rebel T5 bundle that came with the 18-55 mm kit lens and a 75-300 mm zoom lens (our first DSLR). I've been poking around the forum for a few days and have posted some pictures and asked a few questions and thought it was high time I introduced myself. I've been taking pictures with the little point and shoot cameras for quite some time but have always wanted something a little nicer. Little did I realize that I was stepping into a whole new world (with a learning cure I wasn't quite prepared for!) so I started reading articles and watching the odd video here and there to try and learn how to use my new camera. Now I want to learn to take photos. Everything I post please feel free to C&C as I am eager to learn from those that are more experienced than I am. I'm glad to be here!
