New group of coyotes

This time of year the coyotes start to wonder around the neighborhood. I hadn't seen any in a few months.

I really wanted to nominate the first of that last pair for POTM, but can’t separate them. Pretty sure that excludes it from competition. These are beautiful animals and shots.

Crisp details, great color as always. Our population has dwindled substantially, between the bounty (which has now been dropped), the cougars and panthers (which are still here), the coyotes decided they needed to move on. I've only heard them once in the last few months in the night. I'd love to get some shots of the cats, but you rarely see them in daytime, and I'm not wandering the woods in the dark to find them
