Killdear

This little Killdeer was on the far side of a pond. I was walking along and I startled him so he flew to the far side. If I hadn't seen him fly I would never have spotted him as I could barely make him out as he camouflaged in so well with the surroundings. The new lens brough him in for an okay photo, best I could get even with 800 Zoom.

They tend to run along the ground and are hard to spot and then they fly away. I saw him land but figured he was to far away but i was pretty happy once i downloaded the pics they were better then a thought they would be.
