New guy from Long Island

New to the board so I thought I'd introduce myself and say hi. My name is Pete and I'm from Long Island. Been in and out of photography over the years but just started to take it more seriously over the last year or so. Currently shooing a Sony A65 and a Sony HK100 for places that give me a problem bringing the 65 in. Mostly shoot at sporting events and concerts but got my first request to shoot a party for a local radio station after taking pictures at one of their events and giving them to the marketing guy there. Doing it free since I'm trying to build my portfolio and the guy that asked is a good friend of mine. Using LR for editing. Hope to get to know some of you and happy shooting!
