Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Hey ladies and gents, I'm relatively new to this forum. I have been shooting for about 2.5 years and hope to one day become a professional photographer (ever-evolving subject I know, lots to learn). I just wanted to share a few recent photos I snapped of a couple of cars. Comments and constructive criticism welcome! Enjoy:

Welcome to the forum! I like your composition on most of these, but your HDR processing needs some work. You have a lot of haloing, especially on the fine details like the trees in 2,4,5, and 6. Also 5,6 and 7 feel over processed and a bit underexposed.

Nice work. Post more!

i agree. haloing around the trees. had trouble seeing all of the photos. only can see a few. but at least you didnt over process them like you see allot of times.

Thanks for the comments guys! As for the halo effect in the pictures, I noticed that too. How would I go about correcting that? I'm basically going off of very basic photoshop skills I learned in high school.I hadn't noticed the pictures were underexposed until I uploaded them to Flickr. I'll definitely re-edit them to get the better exposure.I'll post some more soon!

Nice work!

Get a Subi STi in the mix next time.

Thanks guys, yeah I'm not technically a noob to photography anymore haha. I signed up for this forum more than a year ago and just barely made my first post.

As for the cars, these belong to a few friends. I don't happen to know anyone with an STi so I'm out of luck haha. I'm hoping my pictures are good enough to start charging people for shoots, it would be nice to get a little compensation for the work I put in.

Here's a few more from that shoot:

Any help from the HDR gurus on how to get rid of the halo effect in the trees and such?

Back track your steps , when do you start to see the halo?Address that first.Second is turning luminosity upThird is try highlight smoothingFourth is move you method slider to the right more.Fifth is to use one of your original exposures and mask out the halo in photoshop. This works really goodSixth use the dodge and burn tools in photoshop

I've never used the dodge and burn tools. But I'll definitely give that a try. Thanks!
