Welcome to the forum!
#1. I'm really not liking the large post (?) covering the entire left side of the frame. It covers up a large part and draws attention away from the subject. Also, the dog looks a little OOF. Is that selective coloring in the eyes? Too small to hardly even notice. Also, the background is a little busy.
#2. Compositionally, ok...I don't really like the stuff of the left side of the frame for reasons stated in #1. I've found that when shooting animals, its better get on their level but in this case, I think it works. It looks like the ear on the right has some blur (Getting a dog to stay still is never an easy task.) Again, not a fan of the selective coloring. Good focus on they eyes though.
#3. I don't really see a subject. Nothing pops out to me at all in this photo. I know what you were trying for, but I think you fell a little short this time. It all seems OOF and parts seems overexposed. Maybe next time, try a closer shot of one of the drops?
#4. I appreciate the irony in this shot. There are many nights that I find myself needing coffee to stay awake so I can be on facebook "just a little longer." However, I'm not liking the selective coloring. Out of all your photos, this is probably the best use of selective coloring IMO. I also like the composition in this shot too.
#5. This one may be my favorite of the bunch strictly based on composition. You did a good job getting down on the cats level and with the arm outstretched like that, it gives it dimension. The background is maybe a tad on the busy side but not too bad. I'd like to see some more focus on the nose and eyes though. Also, I'm still not crazy about the selective color.

I'm not too educated on selective coloring but I really feel that there is only a small window in which to use it. I don't really like it used in the eyes. IMO, selective coloring should be used to either enhance the main subject or to accent a secondary subject. Like I said, I don't know too much (haven't really ever wanted to look into it).
