You're doing fine!

Great start. Reading up on rules of composition would really help your photos improve.

Thanks folks. Ok then 2 more for your cc and any help you can offer.$seat.webp$tree1.webp

Thanks for the tips folks. So on this one what would help the composition. Please ignore the color etc as I want to learn more about composition first.

You know things well; the weakness of composition in the first set is well compensated in the that circular metal bench-image; so all the best :D

2 more taken a few days ago with the Sony a200. Straight from the jpg option on the camera so nothing done to them just compressed to fit. Would love some cc about composition , color , etc. Thanks all$1.webp$2.webp

keeping some point of interests would help improve, even though in landscapes this may not be always true...but the above two landscapes need something to lock eyes :D

Be sure to avoid centering the horizon vertically in the frame. Cut the vertical axis in thirds. Try moving the horizon to the line between the top third and middle third if you want to emphasize an interesting foreground. Or move it to the line between the middle third and bottom third if you want to emphasize an interesting sky/background. Try to avoid ever putting the horizon in the middle of the picture. It makes it not very interesting.

Thanks Tagan. So (i know this is just a crop as such ) but along these lines , making the foreground more interesting.$edit.webp

Frequency I know what you mean. Something like this perhaps or is the tree distracting. Nikon d3100 untouched$4.webp

Yeah, that would look okay for emphasizing a foreground. But be sure to have something interesting in the foreground though. It's just wet beach so there is nothing to hold your attention.
