Welcome to the forum. In this shot, you have run into a problem that a lot of photographers run into, bright sky and dark foreground, however, as it stands, it is not that bad an image. One thing that you have to watch from a compositional perspective, is not to cut your images in half. The shoreline in this image serves as a type of horizon and you have placed it almost in the middle of the picture. I would crop the image just below the point where the tree trunk on the left meets the snow, this would place your shoreline about one-third up from the bottom of the picture and would conform to the "rule of thirds" for composition. If you are unaware of this compositional "guideline" then you can Google "rule of thirds" and you will find all kinds of information on it and how to use it in effective composition.
