new kid on the block

hi folks, just found this site and thought i'd pop in and see what it's all about. i'm from the Pacific Northwest, too darn close to Seattle (i HATE cities!), but i enjoy the photo ops this area has to offer when it's not raining.

i've been dabbling in photography on and off since the mid-80's, finally took the digital plunge in 2004, and now shoot with 5D and 40D Canon dSLRs. i do mostly wildlife and landscapes, with an occasional shot or two of man-made artifacts like lighthouses or urban structures. you can see the kinds of things i do on my website.

i look forward to getting acquainted and sharing my corner of the world with everyone here.
