whats a lense? (juuuuuuuust kidding... but it it *is* spelled LENS ).

Personally, to me it looks like a very narrow usage lens (11-16 is no real range), but it is fast at F/2.8 so it has that in it's favor. If I did not have the Sigma 10-20mm and know how good the results would be with it, I may consider this lens, however, its a specialty lens and not one that most use on a regular basis. I also find the price at over $500 a lot for what it would give me. The Sigma may be slower, but its much cheaper, greater zoom range (a TINY bit more), and gives incredible and rich results.

Finally, this is really nothing "beyond the basics"... it could be much better placed in either the beginner section or the hardware sections.

I do wish people would watch for this a little more.
