Hi all!
New to the forum, hope everyone is well.
I was looking for a place to ask a nagging question I have had for some time. So thats how I got here. I like taking photos of racing cars (among other things) and use a Panasonic DMC-FZ10.
I have noticed in some of my photos that I occasionally get some "glow" around edges of objects, and I dont understand why. Take a look at this photo as a good example.

I took this at Silverstone this year and just look at the back wheels, at the line which you can see UNDER the car just IN FRONT of the rear wheel there. Its a white line.... but it appears to be blue
. Similar thing has happened just behind the wheel, and above the red on-board camera on top of the car.
The picture is in good focus, and has not been edited on the computer much. Dont get me wrong, I love the photo and am really happy with my camera...but just cant seem to get around this small problem.
Can someone please explain why this happens?
Many thanks!!!
Turt.
