New outlook and New try at taillight trails, Check it Out!

So i shot 154 photos today, I think i'm getting better. 1st off, listening to all of you experienced ppl in here, that helps alot. Getting opinions on photos helps a bunch too, even if they are bad opinions.

I took some of a creek today and this tailight trails, I know it turned out a h*ll of alot better than my first one. Opinions:

What was your iso at?
Like the 2nd one better than the 1st. The pole, tree branch, and the traffic light in the middle of #1 are very distracting. #2 is a good practice.

the second looks great. you might try cropping out the stop sign and the yellow work sign.

On the second shot, is there a method is getting the trees to show rather than having them be all black?

The creek: Mill Creek- local kayaking hot spot for me, just never looked at it like this.

Your creek shots are all under exposed. You could have lengthened your exposure time and further increased the "milkyness" of the water.

they were f/22, 1.3sec, iso-100 @ 14mm

What do u think i should lengthen it out too?

Whatever the length of time was to make the photo properly exposed. I can't say for sure I wasn't there.

When I take water pix, I don't want to be that much milky, just my own opinion. I am wondering what others like?

i like them just as they are. possibly even slightly less milky. definitely not more milky.

but, that's MY personal preference.
