Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I am new to posting, but not new to the forums. I have been dabbling in photography for a few years. I just bought the Canon 7D and I am in LOVE. I have a 70-200 L series f4 lens. Attached are a couple pics i took testing lighting.

I would love any feedback.

Awesome tip!

Thanks!

Here is another with the rule applied.

I agree....you've really got the exposure down! Really like #2, and #1 is so cool looking....looks like the leaves are made out of liquid silver or something. NICE!

Great job! I agree with using the rule of thirds to change it up but they are wonderful captures.

Thanks! I agree. For some reason I seem to neglect the rule....

I will work on it though!

Rules are made to be broken occasionally.

Your second image of the light fixture and ceiling fan is a good start. I love the textures brought out in the fan blades, and the soft but contrasty light in the scene.

It is a cool sort of investigation of an everyday object, but in a fine art sort of light.

The only thing the photo would benefit from is not having the bulbs blowing out to complete white. The only way to get this image with everything properly exposed would be to take mutiple exposures and composite them somehow.

Good work.
