New to Landscape/Nature. C&C Welcome

Took this photo at Toledo Bend lake in Louisiana. Been photographing youth sports teams and some family portraits and thought I would try some landscape and scenery.

C&C welcome.

Looks like the horizon is straight, so that's a plus. For me, I don't find anything interesting about the scene, sorry. I bet if you went back in the early morning, or late in the day and find a location without the house boat (or what ever it was) and shoot some nice reflections.

Technically it's fine; good exposure, reasonably good composition, good focus, etc. The difficulty with landscapes is finding a composition that's intriguing, and good light. You need a good foreground element to add intrigue--not always, but often enough. Keep at it!
