Sorry, bit excited lol, just got one and been playing:mrgreen:

My only other lens is the 18-200mm VR which i love but i'm quickly falling for this lens, it lets in soo much light! Hope to get out at the weekend with it and give it a proper thrashing but here's my favourite pic with it so far, yes i know it's wide open, new toys and all that!

Is it the weekend yet?

I'm a fan of shallow DOF. I like what you did here, but I think it would have come off a bit better with the numbers 3,4,and 5 on the dial in sharp focus.

I think you're dead right, i've got the top of the knob in focus which is kinda transparent black lol. Just loved the grain of the wood as it goes out of focus...
