Hey, I've recently been trying to start shooting again. I slowed down due to being busy with work and moving a lot.
Here's a few recent shots, please criticize or comment, I'm looking for any feedback I can get. Thanks, Tanner

Shots of peoples backs are not particularly interesting.

Humans are hardwired from birth to have an interest in faces.

I like #3 to some degree, nice atmosphere, looks like cozy weather... love the reflections on the sidewalk. I don't like that the light post and whatever is suspending the sign is clipped off.

#1 & #2 have nice backlighting and nice warm color, and while I don't agree that it's unattractive *because* it's a backshot as I think some faceless shots certainly work, I do think it needs to tell a stronger story or have something more interesting in it in order for it to work. As it is, it's just a girl strangely walking down the sidewalk (walking like a penguin judging from her right foot on #1) and on a flower bed. It's close, but it needs something more to catch my interest. Why am I looking at the back of someone walking down the sidewalk? What do you want me to see?

#4 I'm afraid is just a flop. What do you want me to see? Him, the car, the phone? The car behind the car? His shorts? It doesn't make sense to me.

Street shots (B&W) seem quite good. It takes a while to get back into it.
