Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Greetings and hello! I am new to the forum (this being my first post) and would first like to say that photography is not my passion but simply my hobby. My main passion, aside from psychology, is music. My camera is nothing special, just a simple Kodak EasyShare, and my editing tools and techniques are far from spectacular. However, I believe this is a place where I might be able to learn from people who are more experienced than myself and improve my ability as a photographer. Being my first post, I would like to include some select pictures (primarily my favorites) that I have taken and edited. Each photo will be a before/after (original/edited). I am still relatively new to editing, having started only a month ago, so these photos will be in descending chronological order, starting with the first photo that was edited, and ending with the most recent.

From the tenth floor of the Ramada I stayed in when my car broke down in Waterloo, Iowa.

Somewhere in Iowa on Highway 63. Took this photo on Thursday.

Just outside the city limit of Wabasha, Minnesota. Took this photo Thursday night. Reason for blurriness: I was cold and shivering, plus "night landscape" mode requires a lot of stability while the lens is open. Also my first ever attempt at a nighttime photo.

Welcome to TPF! If you'd like to get some feedback on both your images and the editing processes you used, you might want to re-post these in our Gallery section. :) Go check it out; we have several categories of Galleries and these shots of yours will fit into them: People, Landscape, etc. Also, just post one or two at a time so it's easier for people to comment.

Keep posting, and enjoy the forum!

Great first post! Thanks for sharing the photos! :)

Awesome! You know what, man? I actually want to thank you for posting. There are times I get so immersed into all of this, that I forget that people can do photography with something other than a dSLR, and even without trying to get paid.

Great post. I really enjoyed reading.

Really? That's quite encouraging. Thank you. :)

A great way to combine photography with music is videography!
