New to the forums and new to photography

Hello everyone, this is my first post on these forums. I just recently really got into photography. My camera is a nikon d90 which I got a couple weeks ago. My lenses so far are the 18-105 that came with the camera, a nikon 70-300 vr and a nikon 35mm 1.8g. I hope to learn a lot on these forums and make new friends!

Hello and welcome. I'm new too- newer than you even! Haha... I have always been interested and fascinated by photography and I always try to take good pictures but I don't know anything about it so it never really turns out well. I've recently decided to take my hobby more seriously. I don't have a camera yet. I've been looking at some (online only for now, I'm deployed to Iraq) but I can't make up my mind. I don't want to spend money on a camera and turn around a few months later and want a different one. What made you pick the Nikon D90? Any suggestions on where I can learn about angles and lighting and stuff to improve my pictures?
