Hi all,
Got a d3000 with standard kit lens for christmas am hooked. Uploaded first couple of images I am happyish with. Comments and advice welcome !

I can't remember about tripod i think i might of just been leaning on table to support myself. :s Sorry!
settings for candle shot were( shot in Av mode):
Aperture: f/5.6
Shutter Speed: 1/50
Exposure Bias: 0ev
Iso Speed Rating: 200
Cropped and minor tweaks in Aperture 2.0.
Any more comments/advice welcomed!
