Newbie in SF

Hi there,

Took a road trip in the US about a month ago and brought along my first DSLR, a D90. Took these pics with a AF Zoom-Nikkor 35-80mm f/4-5.6D and a little Aperture 3 post processing.

Welcome to the forum, very good shots, I think #1 would look better without the person in the photo. I liked #3 the most. Great start :thumbup:

You don't have to and not sure if it matters either but you might wanna reduce size of your uploaded images

1) nice shot. my favorite. i love Alcatraz!
2) good potential..like the overall shot just seems liek u took the PP too far. looks way too blue. tone it down.

Number 3 is interesting but when I look at it, it's giving me an unnatural movement feel to it. I keep thinking something is gonna fall out that door. Cityscape is nice. I would love to shoot SF. My goal is to make it there one day. Nice collection, welcome.
