Hi all,

These photos below were taken yesterday. Some were taken using kit lenses, 14-42, 40-150 and one telephoto lens, 70-300. C&C are very appreciated and welcome.

No 1 Doesn't do much for me.

No 2 I think is the strongest of the set. I like the vibrancy of the colors and the close crop...I would fix those little white imperfections/dust/dirt on the petals in PP though to give the flower a more smooth, and clean look...

No 3 doesn't do much for me either

No 4 is a nice shot because the flower is simple - I wouldn't have picked this particular flower because I, myself don't find it very interesting, but others may disagree - the background is nice...but the entire photo together just isn't altogether hitting home for me as well, it's almost like...ok there's another picture of another flower...almost...not sure if you get what I mean.

No 5 I think would be a great shot if it had some PP as well to make it a bit more dramatic...I say this because I think the trees are very interesting and the angle at which the photo is taken sets a certain dark mood, but the image seems kind flat to me somehow?

Did you PP these at all or are they straight out of camera?

Hi,AtuspidsGoddess
Many thanks for the comment,
Anyway, all pictures above were just resized and some raised up the level a bit in Photoshop.
no.2,4&5, I'll try to do some changes given....

Again, many thanks for the all inputs given...

Regards,

Hery He

The last one is neat. Maybe add a bit of contrast to it, to make it a bit more dramatic.

#1 i would almost say it's to tight (if cropped) if not, give the photo a little more breathing room, per se.
#2 is a great photo, i love it.
and #5 i love the angle of the photo.
