Hello all!

I am new to all this.. i havent gotten my DLSR yet, but plan to as soon as I figure out which one I want. Here are a couple photos I took with my point and shoot and edited in Photoshop. Feedback is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Photo Forum. As you said you're new to this so you've got a lot to learn. Everybody starts in the same place. Folks here can be very helpful, but you'll need to have a thick skin for awhile as your mistakes get pointed out -- it's the best way to learn.

Your first photo has a cyan/blue color cast. Here it is with the color cast removed:

The other two photos were taken with a flash that is physically attached to the camera -- very simple: don't ever, ever do that. Here's a solution:
