Newborn and mom..

I shot some photos for a friend and there newborn last week.. I had a hard time with coming up with ideas for posing.. This was one of only a couple photos I ended up liking.. Good thing she loved them all though.. What do you guys and gals think? Likes/dislikes? lay it all out there please! I'm still trying to learn!

IMO...I love the softness of B/W and it works here...it does seem to be a tad underexposed for my taste, but that's just me.
The profile of mom is ok...but since as always "it's all about baby"...The pacifier needs to go, and needs more of baby's face.

It would be nice to have the passy out of his mouth, but it is OK- I like the slightly dark image, it lends a quietness to the scene. BW is the way to go here as it gives a timeless quality to the picture.

I would have loved to get a good shot with the pacifier out..but I must have come over at a bad time because she just kept crying without it..
