#1 Over exposed
#2 Possible mixed lighting? Wrong WB
#3 Angle is not pleasing
#4 wrong WB and your cut off the text

In #3 I would do some retouching on the belly button. Of course it's natural for a newborn, but in this case it really draws away from the subject.

I like your ideas although you do want to work on the WB issues. #3 does have the best lighting/exposure. Keep shooting! Were these natural light?

1. Baby looks a lil soft and I might have come down to get a slightly different angle on the pic.

2. Cute, but baby looks a lil orange. Again, I feel like her face is kind of hidden, I might have lowered again.

3. She's got purple feet. ;) I might have tried to move slightly to the left on this one.

4. Kind of a weird crop and you cut off the L in LOVE. WB looks like it might be off and I don't like the blue blanket with the red(ish) words. I might try it in a black and white.

Over all they're not bad.

+1 It was the first thing I noticed.

That is something that should be left up to the parent to decide. If the parents want to see baby's umbilical cord so they know that these are when she is still brand new, then it should not be cloned out.

Whenever it is a natural mark, you should not do ANY retouching to it without the client's permission.
