I think Chase should delete the people who registered months ago and have never posted, that way, everyone's # will move up and we can celebrate #1000 again soon. For example, 12 of the first 20 members have zero posts. Get rid of em then we all get to move up 12 slots! Then 11 new members from now, we can celebrate 1000 again. Then go through the next 20 and get rid of the zero losers. and so on and so on. It'll be a perpetual party! :shock:

I think Chase delete anyone that does not participate in the photo challenge at less one every 12 months

the forum i moderate on just hit 100,000 members this week and this site hits 1,000.

what a coinkydink.

and that's having purged accounts that were inactive for at least 6 months back in february. i wanna say there was a separate purge for accounts that had zero posts as well (which i don't think is too shabby an idea here either, orie ;-)). it freed up lots of server space evidently.

that site isn't even 3 years old yet.

i'm not sure how many mods we actually have there. but i'd guess it's probably up around 30 or so now. it's VERY hard to police threads and such which makes us look like we just do a crappy job sometimes. we have to count on people to report stuff to us which they don't always do. and when we delete one person's stuff and not someone else's (simply because we didn't see it) we get accused of playing favorites/being homophobic/being racist... whatever. it sucks.
