I was shooting a local community association Xmas party and this one resulted.

Looks like lots of dust on your sensor. The two things that hold visual interest for me are the girl and the silhouettes below her. The left side where the light is I find distracting. I'd considering cropping that portion of the photo out.

I reloaded the de-spotted version and it should appear above.
Regarding the leveling and perspective correction- I tried that ans wasn't as crazy about the more standard one, it lost a bit of quirkiness and balance

I was experimenting with luminous masks and produced this below.

Any comment re the original?

I like the original better. The edit caused some posterization banding artifacts in the upper right corner, and I just feel that the original is overall cleaner. The kid's face is much better in the original I think.

The spot of light on the left of the frame still isn't adding anything either.
