This was a snapshot from video my daughter took on her iPhone. We were on Coney mountain in the Adirondacks watching rain coming in. The chipmunk came over and started chewing on her phone. Here it looks like he’s soaking up the view.

They will do that for any salt left from sweat. Lucky it didn't do any damage to the phone. Their teeth are sharp!
