Night Pics with my 11-16 Tonika. C&C welcome. only 2 pics

Ok - this is my first request for C&C so be gentle...

Took my Tokina 11-16 2.8 out last night, took lots of shots, had a good time. Went to an old bridge to take some shots and then out in the hills around my place.
I'm really interested in taking epic night shots. I know I need help with composition, I'm getting better, but the biggest problems with night shots are in post ( I think). I get a strong blue cast in the sky, and I can't seem to mute it without turning it a different color or making the stars look bland. Did I get it right in this shot of the tree?

1st looks like you got the stars and tree to stand out nicely enough, though in my view the tree takes up too much of the shot.
2nd I like this shot, the steel industrial bridge blending with the natural surrounds blanketed by the stars, have you got a color version? Would like to see that as well.
