Night shots of Istanbul - feedback needed

Here are some pictures I took today of the harbour in Istanbul:

I like the second shot, the others seem a bit snapshot-ish.
What did you shoot them with?

The first three have good elements. I would suggest cropping as follows, to reduce the dark areas and give an even lighting level to them:
Picture 1. Crop off the right 1/4th, just about where the main building ends to remove the cluttered part.
Picture 2. Crop off the right 20%, just after the end of the blue reflected light from the boat. Also, see if increasing the contrast helps improve the picture.
Picture 3. Crop off the left 1/4th, including the palm that's in the foreground, and play with the contrast.
For Picture 4: If you've shot in RAW, see if you can lighten up the exposure a bit, it is dull even though the composition is quite good.

As you can see, I've tried lots of long exposure shots and would welcome any C&C.
