Here are a couple shots I took at a local nightclub last week. I was there to photograph one of the afterparties of the Jacksonville Film Festival, but I won't include any of the boring shots of people smiling for the camera with their drinks

THis makes me sad that my camera cannot take extended exposure shots.

For me, #1 is too distorted to really understand what I am looking at.

lol the first one is an electronic bull that you ride for a free drink or something. i timed the shot just when the bull spun really fast so i could get lots of blur

I have to agree, there needs to be a clearer subject in the first photo. The colors in the second photo are great, but there really isn't a whole lot that makes it interesting besides those lights. They are a good start, I would say. My two cents: be more conscious of composition in the future.

Personally, I really like the 1st one and how it conveys motion and all the blur seems somewhat controlled and think the 2nd one is boring.
